With Mother's Day around the corner, it comes as no surprise that I would think about all the moms I've photographed. But it got me thinking about my maternity photoshoots in particular. There is something special about each one. Regardless if it was their first, second, or in a longer line of children - you can feel how meaningful these moments are for them. New life brings change, even if you're somewhat accustomed to that change. And while this change can be scary, it also brings joy that didn't exist before.
I selected just a few of my favorite mommy-to-be photos to share with you. But in each one I am reminded of the strength, beauty, resilience, and courage that lives in all mothers.
Moments like these bring so much warmth to my heart! Capturing the stillness of a woman literally holding so much love and life inside her is truly special. So, happy Mother's Day to all of you moms out there! And however you became a mother, you are invaluable and you are a gift!
